A 46-year-old Trowbridge man has been released on bail after admitting dealing in drugs.

Timothy Wilkinson pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing amphetamines with intent to supply, when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.

And he also admitted having cannabis, which was for his own use, on both occasions when he was arrested.

Wilkinson, , of Sparrow Street, Trowbridge, was first caught with the two class B drugs when he was arrested on Saturday, January 12.

Then, five months later, on Saturday June 1, he was again caught in possession of amphetamines and cannabis.

Jason Taylor, defending, said "Mr Wilkinson is under no doubt about the risk he faces. He has already referred himself to a drugs assistance agency."

Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to Friday, January 10 for pre-sentence reports, and released Wilkinson on conditional bail.
