A presentation to make young people aware of the Prince’s Trust employment scheme was held at the Court Mills Youth Development Centre, Trowbridge, last Thursday.
Mayor David Halik was present to promote the event, to encourage those aged 16 to 25 to take part in the programme. The 12-week course is supported by Learning Curve for people not currently in education to gain qualifications to become employable.
Craig Enderby, team leader for the Prince’s Trust, said: “Three-quarters of people who complete the course go back into education, employment or training within three months of finishing.”
The Prince’s Trust runs three courses a year with the first locally due to start on January 27. For more details email craig@learningcurve.org.uk
