Children queued to have their photos taken with reindeer as Trowbridge people embraced the festive spirit at the Wealth of Wiltshire Christmas Fayre.
There were 30 stalls with locally-produced gifts, such as cakes, paintings and jewellery.
Wiltshire Council hosted the event at County Hall, in aid of the A Legacy of Wiltshire programme, last Friday.
Linnet Tomes, marketing officer for Wiltshire council, said: “It’s gone really well, having stepped it up to be even more festive than last year.
“The stalls are run by small businesses, with gifts you wouldn’t find on the high street.”
Among traders at last Thursday’s fayre were woodturner Bob Hoy from Melksham, Jo Dewhirst of Warminster and Emma Coffield of Holt.
