The Avon Vale Hunt will still go ahead on Boxing Day, despite Lacock being badly affected by last night's heavy rainfall.
The village is currently experiencing heavy flooding, with the High Street and the bottom of Bowden Hill worst hit.
However the hunt masters have insisted they will still go ahead with the annual meet, which starts outside the Red Lion pub at 11am.
Hunt master Stuart Redbourne said: "We are definitely still going ahead. Even with the floods as long as we can get the horses down there we'll be going ahead.
"People come along to support us every year, and we want to make sure we support them back."
