Wiltshire has escaped the power cuts which have hit the south following last night’s storms.
Across Southern Electric Power Distribution’s network around 90,000 homes were without power this morning with minor disruptions being reported in Wiltshire.
Some of the worst hits areas in the south west include Bournemouth, Portsmouth and Yeovil.
