Warminster author Leslie Rocker is turning fact into fiction again, with his second novel, called Earlforward.
The 86-year-old, of Ridgeway Court, released Tiger’s Heart – Shakespeare’s Lost Years, on Kindle in March last year.
His new work, set in the late 1950s, tells the story of the production of a musical in London’s West End, using his own experiences as an actor and stage manager.
The novel – again on Kindle – takes the reader through audition and rehearsal to its first night.
Mr Rocker said: “It looks at a period when musicals were first being accepted as an art form.”
Earlforward is £4.05 from www.amazon.co.uk
