Campaigners from Bradford on Avon’s Stand Up For Peace are encouraging others to join them.
The group meets every Saturday, weather permitting, in the town’s Peace Gardens with petitions and signs.
Over the years, it has supported Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, Stop the War Coalition and Campaign Against the Arms Trade.
Chris Sylvester, who set up the group three years ago, said: “We have very interesting conversations with passers-by. It is nice to think we have focused their thoughts for a few moments.
“We feel we are standing up for something we believe in and would like to feel that we are making people think about what is going on.
“If anyone would like to join us for a few moments we would be more than happy.”
