BANDS, musicians and dancers from Wiltshire who want to take part in So Alive, a major new music festival being held near Frome this July, have a chance to try out on Saturday, January 18 at a Talent Show being held at Frome Town FC.
Entry is free, and the organisers want to hear from bands, singers, dancers, comedians, jugglers – even novelty dog acts are welcome. To be considered, email their details of your act to info@soalivemusicfestival.com or contact us on Facebook at So-alive MusicFestival.
There is a £250 cash prize to the overall winner plus prizes and trophies for Best Dance Act/Best Band/Best Comedy Act/Youngest Act.
So Alive is a fun family festival on July 12, which will have a main dance stage, which so far has booked local acts Tom Carpenter and Bath band Too Much Lipstick, winners of a series of audition concerts last year. The headline act is Barbadian singer Magnet Man, who has his UK base in Frome and has recruited a band of local musicians.
There will also be dance and majorette competitions, fashions shows and a beauty pageant, as well as a range of stalls. Contact the organisers now to register interest in taking part.
