The ‘McBrookie Clan’ made their Burns Night debut at Melksham’s Brookside Residential Care Home entertaining the residents with Scottish music, dancing and food.
Staff at the home showed off their Highland-inspired moves at the Ruskin Avenue home on Monday, accompanied by piper Bob MacNaught, who also piped in the haggis for a traditional Burns Night supper.
Activities coordinator Elena Hallet said: “We had a great time, lots of the residents were there with their families and friends.
“We had a three-course meal with soup and haggis, followed by cranachan, a traditional Scottish dessert.
“They really loved the whisky punch we had, everyone was asking when we could have it again.”
