Recognition for Warminster Poppy Appeal collectors

POPPY Appeal collectors from Warminster were recognised for their years of service by the Royal British Legion last Friday.

Mayor of Warminster Paul Batchelor presented awards alongside Poppy Appeal organiser Charles Lane.

Roy Williams was recognised for 30 years’ service, Paul Angove, Wilfred Baxter and Valerie Wheeler were all recognised for 20 years, and Pamela Stay for 15 years, while certificates were also given to Yolanda Jeanes, Lt Col Michael Jelf and Patrick McClarnon for 10 years of collecting and Rev Adrian Pollard and Lesley Fudge for five years.
