Children’s charity Barnardo’s is encouraging supporters to ‘drop and shop’ at a new venture in Warminster.

It has opened a donation centre at Station Road, where people can bring good-quality items before shopping in the store for a bargain. And they can see the sorting bays at the rear and enjoy plenty of parking space.

Barnardo’s area business manager David Bates said it was a popular concept already well-received elsewhere.

“There is no need to search for a parking space and then carry everything down the road.”

Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 9am-5pm and Sundays from 10am-4pm. See www.barnardos.org.uk
