Spudlovers were in their element on Saturday with the annual Codford Potato Day and Seed Fair proving to be another big success.
The fair, now in its fifth year, provides an opportunity for enthusiasts to stock up on seed potatoes from more than 80 varieties, including some unusual types of potato.
Organised by Codford and District Gardening Club and Pennard Plants, the event at Codford Village Hall offered heritage seeds, fruit trees, rhubarb crowns, onion sets and a whole lot more.
Club chairman Jennifer Claypoole said: “It went extremely well and we managed to raise around £300 for our club.”
