Over 300 children have enjoyed messing around with water with an enchanting stage show, Splosh, this week, thanks to Trowbridge Arts, with two more performances in the town centre tomorrow.

Trowbridge Arts has worked with Sixth Sense Theatre for Young People to bring the early years show to various setting across Trowbridge. Splosh uses dance, music and puppetry to help children and families explore communicative play at bath time.

Tracy Sullivan, director of Trowbridge Arts, explained: “We were asked last year if we wanted to be one of only eight places across the country to have this show for our youngest audiences and thanks to the support of 4children and the Willows Pre-School we were able to say yes. We are thrilled that so many schools, early years centre and pre-schools have been able to host this event for us.”

The two public performances of Splosh at Trowbridge Town Hall on Saturday are at 9.30am and 11am. The show lasts for 30 minutes followed by 10 minutes play at the end and is ideal for children aged two-five. Tickets are £6 for children and £4 for the grown-ups: to book call 01722 321774 or book online at www.trowbridgearts.com
