Warminster residents piled into The Bath Arms on Tuesday for the reopening of the pub by national chain JD Wetherspoon, almost two years after it closed.
The company has spent £2.26 million re-developing the pub in Market Place, which is a Grade II listed property and one of the town’s three surviving 18th century inns.
The new-look pub, which has created 45 new jobs, features one bar and a beer garden, as well as a hotel comprising of five bedrooms set over two floors.
Information boards relating to local events and history are displayed in the pub, while the hotel bedrooms have artwork from Warminster School pupils.
