Police plea after woman cyclist, 51, hurt in Chippenham accident

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following an accident involving a woman cyclist and a silver Vauxhall Zafira at the Bath Way roundabout in Chippenham on Wednesday, May 14.

The collision happened outside the Pheasant Inn pub at about 5.20pm.

The woman, who is 51, suffered what police are calling non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, especially as the incident took place during rush hour on a busy stretch of road.
