Dedicated ‘health trainers’ have been dispatched across Wiltshire.
The 13 fitness experts, trained by Wiltshire Council, will offer free support and advice on health matters.
They will work on a confidential one-on-one basis with people for up to six sessions.
The scheme began in March in the north of the county, and has now been rolled out following a launch event at County Hall on May 15.
Former town council sports coach Steve White is the health trainer covering Trowbridge. He said: “I cover any health aspect other than drug use, so alcohol reduction, gaining or losing weight to get to a healthy weight, improving your diet, getting more exercise and emotional wellbeing.”
