St Stephen’s Place multi-storey car park in Trowbridge is closed, after a man was found on the ground floor with serious injuries just before 1pm today.
Police were called to the scene after being contacted by South Western Ambulance Service, who were also in attendance.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, was taken by ambulance to the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
Detectives are investigating but officers say they are not looking for anyone in connection with the incident.
Sgt Jim Suter, of Trowbridge Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We are appealing for any witnesses to contact Wiltshire Police on 101.
“We ask for the public to be patient while we carry out investigations, but we understand the closure of the multi-storey car park is inconvenient.”
