A teenager has been flown to hospital in Bristol and another arrested after an assault in Trowbridge this afternoon.

Two 17-year-old males were involved in the altercation on Seymour Road, shortly before 3pm.

Police and ambulance crews attended the scene, along with the Wiltshire Air Ambulance, which landed at Trowbridge Cricket Club and took one of the males to Southmead Hospital.

He is understood to have suffered serious leg lacerations.
