Members of TS Achilles, the Sea Cadet unit based in Trowbridge, were joined by members of Frome Royal Naval Association for a trip to HMS Belfast in London.
The warship is moored on the Thames close to Tower Bridge and is part of the Imperial War Museum.
The visit coincided with the 70th anniversary of D-Day – HMS Belfast was part of the naval bombardment forces; her 12 six-inch guns fired 1,996 rounds during the course of the Normandy landings.
