Hundreds of pupils from schools in the Bradford on Avon area filled the Wiltshire Music Centre with Tudor songs and melodies during their performance of Ahoy! Sing for the Mary Rose, on Wednesday night.
Christ Church, Fitzmaurice, Winsley, Westwood With Iford and Churchfields primary schools teamed with St Laurence School for the production celebrating Henry VIII’s warship Mary Rose.
The pupils took part in two performances and were joined by adult choirs Bath Camerata and Cantamus Chamber Choir.
Alexander L’Estrange created the piece to celebrate the opening of the Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth, which houses the hull of the warship.
