There could be at least four wallabies wandering around the county according to the Wiltshire Wallaby Facebook page as the hunt missing Wanda continues.

Wanda was last spotted in a bean field next to the Ramsbury Brewery and has travelled to a number of destinations including Aldbourne, Wilcot and Axford since she escaped from her paddock in Mildenhall near Marlborough on July 2.

Sergeant Clare Wallace from Marlborough Neighbourhood Police Team said: “We’ve had a few sightings reported to us and we’re in contact with several of the people involved with The Wiltshire Wallaby Watch Facebook page.”

Posters have been created for people to put up around their towns and villages to help find Wanda and can be downloaded from the Facebook page.
Phil Brady, who has set up the page said: "We have almost 400 members so far and everyone's on the lookout.

"We have designed posters to put up around the villages and local businesses, Wessex Print and Cat Communications have printed and laminated them for us.

"We have organised a community link up and we now have volunteers from all over the county helping us distribute them in the area. We are targeting shops, pubs, cafes and we are also pinning them to posts throughout the region.”
