Members of Parliament will get the chance to toast the beer from Edington’s Three Daggers Brewery after five casks of Daggers Ale were delivered to the House of Commons last week.

Local MP, Dr Andrew Murrison arranged for the beer to be delivered to The Strangers Bar for MPs and their guests to sample over the coming weeks.

Head brewer Michael Andrews, 46, who lives in Bratton and Chris Clark, 50, from Shepton Mallot made trip to London to help Dr Murrison pour the first pint.

Mr Clark said: “It is great fun going to the House of Commons and we were very lucky to be accepted.”

The brewery, based on Westbury Road, opened on April 2 2013 and its beers are available at over 40 pubs across Wiltshire, including the Three Daggers Pub, Edington and the Organ Inn, Warminster.
