G Plan Upholstery in Melksham has appointed its first brand director, Stephanie Hildon.
She will be focusing on strengthening the company’s brand proposition by building on the strong foundations that the manufacturer already enjoys.
Having worked primarily in the FMCG sector, it is hoped her consumer insight expertise and deep knowledge of brand strategy will benefit G Plan hugely.
G Plan proved popular with the new brand director because of its strong heritage, well-loved legacy and reputation for long-lasting quality.
She said: “I am thrilled to be joining the team and am really looking forward to applying the specialist knowledge and skills I have amassed.
“This is a completely new sector to me and I find it amazing that one minute I can be choosing fabrics with the design team, and then I can be on the factory floor seeing these wonderful items being handmade by the incredibly skilled master craftspeople.”
