This year’s Trowbridge in Bloom Home Produce Fayre took on a special theme when it took place in Fore Street on Sunday to mark the centenary of the First World War.

Stallholders dressed up in period costume, with home grown and homemade produce for sale, including flowers, plants, vegetables, cakes, bread and jams.

It was sponsored by Trowbridge pub The Kings Arms and there were prizes for the best dressed stall and stallholders.

Trowbridge in Bloom chairman Jennifer Polledri said: “Judges were the Mayor Glyn Bridges, Lynnette Hilliard and Jonathan Knee.

“Winners for best dressed stall and stallholders were Trowbridge Players and TAOS Musical Theatre combined, Revival and Bath Cancer Unit Support Group, Trowbridge.”
