WARMINSTER Town Council was forced to defer a debate on the town’s boundary on Monday, after 150 people turned up to have their say.
The unexpectedly high turnout meant everyone could not fit into the Civic Centre room being used for the full council meeting, so the authority was forced to reschedule the debate, which will now
probably take place next month.
The consultation feedback will be used to develop proposals for inclusion in the Wiltshire housing site allocation development plan.
After the deferral, most people left and the rest of the meeting carried on as planned.
