A motorcyclist was taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath yesterday after an accident between a car and a motorcycle in Staverton Road, Trowbridge.
The collision occurred outside The Old Bear Inn, between Cereal Partners and Cottles Barton, with police and an ambulance crew called to the scene at 11.39am by a member of the public.
The motorcyclist, who was driving a Suzuki bike, was taken by ambulance to the RUH after he sustained minor leg injuries in the incident.
The car, a Vauxhall Corsa, was also being driven by a man who not hurt.
Police closed the road while the motorcyclist was being treated by paramedics and his bike was removed. The road was reopened just after 1.30pm.
