Dogs from Yorkshire terriers to golden retrievers all queued up to join in the fun and games at the Country-wide store in Melksham on Saturday.
A Big Dogs’ Breakfast enticed customers in for croissants and orange juice and dogs were treated to biscuits.
Staff were on hand to offer advice and there was a demonstration given on how to embroider dog beds. The Dogs Trust were also at the event, on hand to microchip the pets.
Manager David Tucker said: “It was really well received, 48 dogs were chipped.”
The event was also held to raise money for the Dogs for the Disabled charity and £175 was raised from a tombola.
The charity helps train dogs for those who live with a disability and helps support them by offering freedom and independence.
