An open day to show prospective groups what is on offer at Bradford on Avon’s youth centre will take place tomorrow.
The Frome Road building is still under threat of closure while discussions take place over the possibility of Bradford on Avon Town Council taking over the running of the centre to keep it open.
Wiltshire Council has offered it a short term lease of five years, which has yet to be negotiated.
The town council hopes to create a Bradford on Avon Youth and Community Centre for the whole use of the town and are encouraging people to view the building’s facilities on October 18 from 2-4pm.
Councillor Alison Craddock, deputy mayor and chair of leisure youth and arts, said: “I think there would be a lot of interest. It has a project room, sports hall, central meeting area, kitchen, and music room.”
