Year 3 class from Springmead School in Beckington had a fantastic time at the Roman Baths, handling 2000-year-old artifacts, dressing up in the fashions of yesteryear and making a mosaic.

They sketched, made notes and listened to a walkie-talkie commentary as they explored the workings of the ancient monument.

Recently Year 1 enjoyed an exciting day on a visit to Bristol. In the morning they had a fascinating science lesson all about the human body and the five senses, before an afternoon exploring science activities: milking a cow, milling flour, building a wall, blowing giant bubbles, trying out a giant hamster wheel, and having a go at assembling a human body.
