Pupils from The Mead Primary and Clarendon Academy joined older people to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the First World War.
Children from the two Trowbridge schools dressed in 1914-style clothing and took part in workshops led by Clarendon pupils and Trowbridge Museum at Clarendon Academy.
The schools sang Great War songs, finishing with a big singalong with the Devizes Good Afternoon Choir. The project was organised by Grenville Jones, founder of the Golden Oldies charity, which encourages people to get out and enjoy being with others through music. Mr Jones said: “To see old and young singing together is a very humbling experience.”
