A FREE Christmas lunch is being provided for residents on Christmas day at Melksham Assembly Hall organised by Core Church.
So far 75 people have booked in for the lunch. Anyone is welcome to attend and there will be turkey, supplied by I. D. Newman and Sons Butchers, while trimmings and puddings will be provided by local catering firm Food Glorious Food.
There will also a vegetarian option and they will try to cater to special dietary requirements. The dinner can also be delivered to those who are not able to get to the Assembly Hall.
Doors open at 11am for carols and refreshments followed by a traditional Christmas lunch at 1pm.
Guests are welcome to come for all or part of the day.
There is no charge but donations are welcome. To ensure there is enough food for everyone on the day the church would like to hear from anyone who want to attend on 07788 446567.
