Alison Little, the aunt of Nathan Cox, has thanked all those who have supported her and her family since his death in an accident on the West Wiltshire Trading Estate.

Nearly 300 people gathered at St Michael's and Angels Church, Hilperton, last Friday to mourn the popular 20-year-old who was described as a “loving, caring and respecting man”. Family tributes were read out during the service, which was led by the Rev Stephen Ball.

Mrs Little said in a statement sent to the Wiltshire Times: "I would like to thank everyone for their support at this awful time.

"Everyone has been so kind. BoA choir for singing Silent Night at the chapel of rest while me and my son Aaron were saying goodbye. It was moving and beautiful.

"Also Denise Hamlin at CS Bowyers for her warmth and compassion which made it so much easier for the family when struggling to make arrangements.

"Also a thank you to Rev Stephen Ball who took Nathan's service and played his guitar to Silent Night in the church, and thank you to everyone who made a donation to Leash On Life Dog Rescue, the charity chosen by the family.

"We as a family now have a long journey ahead of us without Nathan.

"He was a huge character and brought joy and life to so many, again thank you for the kind words and people sharing their lovely memories of Nathan with us.

"Stay safe, enjoy life and cherish your time with loved ones and family."
