A free event at the Arc Theatre in Trowbridge on Thursday aims to encourage young people to vote at the 2015 General Election.
The event from 6pm-8pm is part of National Voter Registration Day, which wants to ensure a strong turnout of people aged 18-24 in May’s poll.
Young representatives from each of the main political parties will attempt to win votes, each giving a short, jargon-free presentation.
Members of Wiltshire Assembly of Youth and UK Youth Parliament will also give a short presentation on their work, and there will be performance from local bands Makeshift People and The Threads.
Bite the Ballot community engagement officer Grace Ashman said: “The event is a response to many under 25s saying they aren’t going to vote in May, because politics is too confusing and they don’t know who to vote for.”
