Originality is something the licensee and promoters at The Lamb strive for, so when Jon Amor offered Sheer Music the chance to book his duo show with fellow blues guitarist Joel Fisk, they couldn’t jump at the opportunity quick enough.

Promoter Kieran J Moore explained: “This duo continue the strong pedigree of musicianship they are known for individually, but rather than using loop stations to build up the sound, like Jon is famous for, this time it is all live and right in front of you.

“Songs like Cut Through The Graveyard are suited to the intimate and dark surroundings of smaller venues, their voices equally suited to the job in hand, we are sure this will equally delight and entertain.

“Support comes from the wonderful Nordlund & Baron. Whilst they are a well established act and perform an awful lot, they are relatively new to us at The Lamb. Singer Linda Nordlund has the voice suited to the music and is a perfect foil for our headliners: all within the wide spectrum of blues, without repetition. Excellent stuff.

“Opening the night will be younger-than-his-performance-gives-the-impression-of Jack Moore.

“Jack is a textbook example of how to conduct yourself, work hard and succeed. He has barely turned 18, but has an enviable amount of shows under his belt, driven by his taxi-come-dad. Jack’s indie rock/loose blues is a perfect way to open proceedings, and he is a popular performer in his own right.”
