Money promised for the Historic Core Zone project in Bradford on Avon by developers who want to build homes and offices at Kingston Farm be used for improving bus services to that end of the town.

Bradford town councillors, welcomed the news when they were told last week that the £155,000 investment would still be spent in the town. The money had been intended to pay for phase two of the pedestrian-friendly plans in Silver Street.

Wiltshire Council planning officers are working with the developers on the plans, to confirm which bus provider will get the money. The plans have been developed by Landowner Shaun Moulton Dorset-based housebuilder C.G Fry and Sons and lead developer BOA Property Ltd.
