Although there are a few clouds about, it is set to be a bright start to a week in which temperatures are forecast to rise to almost 30 degrees.

Monday though will be cooler, with the thermometer struggling to get above twenty but there should not be the rain which lingered for much of Sunday.

There will be cloud cover until later afternoon but this should clear away into a pleasant summer’s evening ahead of what is likely to be the hottest day of the year so far.

On the roads there are no major incidents although traffic is busy in the usual areas, especially around Swindon's Bruce Street Bridges.

Thamesdown Transport says that temporary traffic lights at the Outlet Village may cause delays to its services 1/1A, 13/14, 19, 27 and 28.
