DEVIZES School is all set for its latest production of James and the Giant Peach, which starts this Thursday.

Following on from the success of Oliver earlier in the year, the new show will be starring just year seven to year nine students.

It has been produced and directed solely by three former year 13 pupils, Tom Mullings, Rosa Higgs and Abigail Ibbetson, who will all be going to study drama at university in September.

The classic Roald Dahl story will be performed from Thursday to Saturday, starting at 7.30pm in the main hall.

Tickets are £6 for adults and £4 for concessions, available on the door or in advance from the school.

There will also be a preview of the performance at the school’s open evening on Wednesday between 3.30 and 6.30pm, where someone will also be available to sell tickets.
