A MAN was airlifted to safety this evening after falling down the Westbury White Horse walk.
He is thought to have sustained a broken pelvis and other injuries and was flown to the major trauma unit at Southampton General Hospital by Coastguard helicopter.
South Western Ambulance Service paramedics and Trowbridge firefighters were among those involved in the rescue operation.
