BATH Cats and Dogs Home will have plenty of games and activities to keep the whole family entertained when it holds its annual Bank Holiday Fun Day on Monday (Aug 31).

The event, which is sponsored by Bath Signs Digital Print and is now in its 40th year, will be held between 11am-4pm at the home in Claverton Down and includes the Demo Ring, where rescue dogs from the Bath Cats and Dogs Home will do agility and obedience displays.

There will also be a Fun Dog Show, sponsored by Sam’s Woof Wash Grooming Studio, which will give visitors an opportunity to enter their own dog into one of the different categories.

People can also find out more about pet adoptions and fostering from the Rehoming Zone, while the Kids Zone will have plenty of free activities, including arts and crafts, a bouncy castle and face painting.

There will be food and drink, including a barbecue, plus a tea room and tea tent with delicious homemade cakes. Artisan stalls will also offer local fare, products and services.

Tickets for Fun Day cost £4 for adults, £3.50 for senior citizens and £2 for children aged 5-16 years-old, with a Family Ticket priced at £10. Entry is free for children under 5. For more information, visit www.bcdh.org.uk or contact 01225 787334.
