A GROUP of mums from Westbury, Dilton Marsh, Frome and Warminster are looking to raise money for their friend’s two-year-old son, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Alexander Vincon, from Dilton Marsh, has had two major brain operations this month and will be undergoing chemotherapy treatment in two weeks.
Money to help Alexander’s parents, Raluka and Phil, will be raised at the Standerwick car boot fair at the cattle market in Frome on September 13, from 6.30am.
Wendy Zenthon, one of the mums fundraising, said: “We’re doing this because he's an amazingly strong, gorgeous little boy with good friends.
“Any family that’s going through this has expenses that build up and we think that our friends need us and every little we get helps.”
