POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a teenager was assaulted in the main entrance to the Castle Place Shopping Centre in Trowbridge.
The incident happened last Monday (September 21) at around 5.10pm, when a group of seven or eight people were seen at the entrance of the shopping centre with the victim.
The 17-year-old male victim was assaulted and suffered a broken nose.
PC Aimee Lappin from Wiltshire Police said: “This is a nasty assault which left the victim very shaken. The incident happened next to a number of busy bus stops, so someone should have seen something.
“If anyone saw anything suspicious around this time involving a group of males and females, including two males on bikes, please call me PC 2541 Aimee Lappin on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
