FIVE female singers, who all front their own local bands around Wiltshire, will come together to put on a charity concert this month.
The Female of the Species, will hold their gig at the Assembly Hall in Melksham on October 17 all in aid of raising money for Wiltshire Mind.
Julie Morten along with Julia Greenland, Charmaigne Andrews, Claire Perry and Nicki Davis will join to perform a mixture of rock, soul, blues and pop music.
Last year, the group managed to raise £3,500 after 400 people attended the concert at the Civic Hall in Trowbridge. The money raised was put towards the costs of an extension at the Hope Nature Centre in Southwick.
The women are now hoping to raise a similar amount at this year’s event.
Tickets cost £7.50 and can be bought from Rocket Queen Tattoo Parlour, Trowbridge, FG Collier Kitchens & Bathrooms, Westbury and the Assembly Hall, Melksham.
