MAY I, through your letters page, thank all those members of the public who contributed last weekend to the collection that Trowbridge White Ensign Association held at The Shires Shopping Centre in Trowbridge.
I am pleased to report that we raised £367 and this superb total will help us to continue to support (amongst others) the Trowbridge Sea Cadet Unit, Combat Stress, Chippenham Sea Cadets, Blind Veterans Charity (formerly St Dunstans) and The Soldiers, Sailors and Airman’s Families Association. Finally, I would like to thank the directors and local management team for granting us permission to collect in The Shires, it was greatly appreciated by our association.
