A MAN killed when his car overturned in a crash in Trowbridge has been named by police.

Cyril Huntley, 72, from Westbury, collapsed at the wheel of his car on Friday, March 11, when he was driving along the A363 in North Bradley through the White Horse Business Park.

His car, a blue Honda Civic, hit the central reservation before careering toward a roundabout and overturning.

The father-of-three was pronounced dead at the scene at 1pm having suffered serious head injuries. His wife Pauline Huntley, who was travelling with him, suffered minor injuries.

Mr and Mrs Huntley moved to Westbury in 2014, having lived in Bath for many years.

He leaves three sons and six grandchildren and before his retirement worked as a landscape gardener.

A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr Huntley at this very sad time.

“A post-mortem examination will now be carried out and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
