A TRUCK driver was airlifted to hospital with serious leg injuries following a collision between his lorry and another truck which closed the A361 near Seend.
The 41-year-old man was helicoptered to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by Wiltshire Air Ambulance after his white Isuzu flat bed lorry collided with a yellow DAF Wiltshire Concrete truck just after 8.30am on Wednesday between Seend and The Lamb on the Strand pub.
A police spokesman said the driver suffered extensive fractures to his leg.
The road was reopened just after 11am.
