A BIRDS eye view of Westbury is set to be the main attraction at a summer fete next Saturday.
Revellers at the All Saints' Church Summer Fair will get the chance to climb to the top of the church tower and, weather permitting, take in far reaching views across the town and surrounding countryside.
The Rev Paul Richardson, team rector of the White Horse Team Ministry, said: "It's very rare that the tower is open, so Saturday will be one of the few chances for people to stand on the top and see if they can see their house and the rest of Westbury, as well as getting a view of the new church roof."
The fair, which is being held to raise funds for the church, takes place in the churchyard between 2pm and 4pm, and will feature a host of stalls and a tombola.
The Rev Richardson added: "I'm looking forward to the day and I think it will be a good opportunity for the people of Westbury to have a good time and support their local church."
The church tower will be open between 2pm and 4.30pm.
