FOLLOWING a series of thefts from motor vehicles in the Limpley Stoke and Freshford area in the last week police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Five incidents have been reported between May 15-20, including a stolen car, jewellery, cash as well as broken into vehicles and car damage.

The first break-in took place between 4pm on May 15 and 10am on May 18 when a Ford Focus was broken into in Newtown, Bradford on Avon, where a travel cot and other items were stolen.

The second was between 3pm and 11pm on May 18-19, where suspects gained entry to a secured Volkswagen in Church Lane, Freshford, searched inside and stole a small amount of cash and an iPod Nano.

The next occurred from 6.30pm and 9.30am on the same days, where suspects broke into a Volkswagen Touran, also in Church Lane but nothing was taken.

The penultimate attack was on May 19 between 9-10pm when a silver Land Rover was broken into and stolen in Woods Hill, Limpley Stoke.

Finally on May 20, between 2-7am, a vehicle was broken into in Limpley Stoke and an iPhone 5, 2 iPods, a handbag, jewellery, headphones and boots.
