SOMETIMES the best things in life are free and that was certainly the case at the Bradford on Avon Community Church's Freedom Festival in Westbury Gardens on Saturday.
From 11am-4pm attendees were treated to free massages, games, a hog roast and tea and cake, with donations going to Dorothy House Hospice Care.
The event, now in its sixth year is a non-profit community project run by the church, located in St Margaret’s Street, and according to organiser Chris Brown was a big success.
"Everything has gone really well. We have had a few hundred people come in throughout the day which makes the event even better," he said.
"The weather has been better than expected, there has been a great buzz about the place and hopefully we can raise some funds for a great cause.
"People have really enjoyed themselves, been very generous with their donations and it has run really smoothly which is great."
