WILTSHIRE is going to the EU referendum polls today for one of the most crucial votes in the history of the UK.
Millions of people are set to have their say on whether the country should remain in the European Union or leave.
Months of campaigning, with claims and counter-claims from both sides and tensions running high, come down to the decisions of ordinary people in the ballot box.
The polls opened at 7am and we will be covering the referendum throughout the day as we wait for voting to end at 10pm.
Then the counting will begin, but it will be some hours before the result of the referendum becomes clear.
We will be up all night to record the results and reaction, with Wiltshire areas expected to declare between 4am and 5am on Friday.
