A 19-YEAR-OLD man has suffered a broken jaw in two places which had to be pinned and plated after being punched in Warminster.
Since the incident, which took place in Weymouth Street at about 2.40am on Sunday, June 19, a 28-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and released on bail pending further enquiries and police are appealing for witnesses.
DC Justine Parsons, of Central CID, based at Trowbridge Police Station, said: "This was a nasty attack which left a young man requiring hospital treatment for a fractured jaw.
"I would like to appeal to anyone who was in the K S Bar in Weymouth Street on the evening of Saturday 18 June into the early hours of Sunday morning.
"We'd also like to hear from any witnesses to the incident itself - please get in touch. Any information you have, no matter how small, may be crucial to our investigation."
